We realize that in the last few weeks we have been very slow in getting answers relative to the Beagle Program and we greatly appreciate your patience. Thank you.

The Coonhound World is now over and we are ready to concentrate our efforts 100% to the Beagle World coming up this weekend. If you have any questions in regards to the World please post them here and we'll check in periodically and try to get answers for ya asap. Again, thanks for your patience.

World Hunt ???????

Does anyone know how ukc will decide what round what dogs will run in, i thought it was by first 120 dogs that got papers sent in?
Do those first 120 have a choice or do they have to run round 1a.
If the first 120 dogs decide not to run 1a do other dogs get chance to run 1a and if so i guess all dogs should be on grounds for 1a deadline?
Front of confirmation sheet say 11:00 am deadline for 1b and back says 11:30 ???

The first 120 entries will in fact have their choice to run in 1A or 1B on Saturday at the World. We will start confirming entries on Friday night for both Round 1A and 1B.

Any Round 1A entries (1-120) wishing to hunt in the B round would in fact open up the door for entries above 120 to hunt in the early round.

The Schedule of Events listed on the back of your confirmation forms is listed incorrectly. The deadline to confirm for Round 1B is 11:00am. As mentioned above, Round 1B may be confirmed as early as Friday night which would great if you're already there anyway.

Allen are you saying if I have entry # 10 and # 50 and dont make the morning deadline I can run both in round 1b?

Allen, thats great, but aren't the judges and guides some of the people that will be hunting sat. morning. What I mean is, I know that some of the people that are guiding in the morning may have numbers above 120. So doesn't that mean that once all judges and guides are filled, then the top 120 will get first choice. But if this is true, some of the people in the top 120 might not get their choice due to higher number entrants being judges and guides.

Jeremy, yes there are a few guides that may have entry numbers higher than 120 that will be used in Round 1A. But for the most part I think it will work out to be a non-issue. We already have enough that want to hunt in 1B.
