Yote hunter's ??

What kind of mouth calls do you use. (brand, type and do they come with a tape)
I am fixing to start trying my hand at decoy dog'in some. We have been having problems with them when we coon hunt. So I am going to do my part and have some fun as well.....Thanks, Kevin

Mine is a "July Walker" crossed with some Croghan breeding!

A whole lot more fun hearing the hounds chase em, than blowing into a tube and hoping they show up~

Lots of people around use to run them with dogs. My grandpa was a wolf hunter. Problem is;
one I live in indian territory so there are very few places that are larger than a section and typically sections have 3-5 owners inthem.
Second lots of folks from out west sold there shot gun houses for a 1/2 million moved to Oklahoma bought 40 acres built a house, a horse barn, call it a ranch HA! and act like they bought the whole county.
Guess I need them to get close to me.

I personally like calling, have learned that the only way to hunt is in the day time, check out ebay, there is a ton of calls there!!!

Go to Cabelas.com search for: Sceery Predator Kits
Its a nice started kit....also check out www.western-rivers.com

I am a dealer for them and they have a ton of predator hunting stuff....if you see anything you like give me a holler, I may be able to save you some money!!!

Yote Buster, it comes with a video tape/DVD and has numerous features and adjustable to make different sounds, from howls to challenge to rabbit distress. It uses a plastic tube with plastic adjustable reed

why not just take a cassette recorder with you coonhunting and record the dogs treeing and use it to call the yotes in...they come in to them at night ,maybe they will come into them in the daytime..

you could also record some of them treeing contest dogs treeing on a cage coon at 160 - 200 barks per minute for a different sound...

also seen in outdoor life or field/stream mag. where a fella had a large cur type kill dog that he would get to howling and the yotes would howl back and come in to the dog,,
dont remember if the dog would kill the yotes or he would shoot them ..
