get to know me

I am a big redbone man. I am located in Ohio and have just recently finished my one year old female out to GRCH. Some of you may know me and this dog her name is GRCH'PR' Little Lady Queen Annie. she is a great dog on the beanch but unfortunately she isn't the best in the woods. she will start tracks and tree but she has a bad habbit of running tree rats (opossums). I hate to admit it but I would rather admit it than deny it and have her run one at a hunt.
I also have her litter mate "PR' Gramps buddy Bow. He is an excellent tree dog and isn't that bad on track either. he will tree a opossum to but he Knows he ant supposed to and will shut up when you go in to him. Just last night he treed one but he only opened up a phew times and got quiet because he knew he wasn't supposed to be doing it.
I know my dogs arent the best in the world and I am willing to admit it but I would still rather have a redbone than any other breed even if they're not the best dogs in the country.

None of my business but when she trees a possum put a leash on her and walk out about 15 to 20 ft. from the tree walk around the tree in a circle when she drops her head that is where the possum came in to the tree. use a whip or switch and give her a couple of swats and lead her away and release. Usually will work and she doesn't associate it with the tree. you don't have to beat her just a couple of swats and leave.Hope this works.

Jim, I live in Clarissa. I,m the guy that was the MOH the first night of state hunt. Don't do the night hunts much anymore. Hit them all in 60's and 70's . Hunted the 2nd.night was doing good till I treed my dog off ben's dog. I have a half brother to his dog. cost me 125-. end of story. Them Tucker dogs all sound too much alike. LOUD!
