I am a GM of Sales for Culligan Water, and seem to find time to "play on the computer". Just because people are on here does not necessarily mean they do not work. As the previous pionted out, there are different shifts, as well as those that work in an environment that gives the access to a computer at work. ie. an office. I am sure there are others that are retired, and still others that work so many days on and so many days off.

We all work

I work a 12 hour shift, 7:00PM to 7:00AM, with rotating days off. The great thing about this schedule is that it fits in so great with coonhunting. Work 2 nights, off 2 nights...It's the best! Fri,sat, and sun off every other week. Factor in vacation and I work less then 6 months out of the year.

Well at least this is a different angle of why folks spend so much time on the computer. Most earlier post want to know if any of us HUNT because it would seem that we're always on here LOL.

Work???

Well, my day starts at 7 am every single day. I get daughter up & ready for school, then have rest of day to tend a 5 yr old, wash clothes, do dishes, cook, clean dog runs & feed/water them, tend the chickens, collect the eggs, split & haul in fire wood, then cook some more, clean up spills, wipe snotty noses & icky hindies, then after all that, run the dogs at night. Any questions as to if I WORK!!!!!!!

Not a bad idea for a topic. I'm a high school teacher. On my prep I get on and check out the gossip. Not a bad profession to be a coon hunter. Weekends and summers off to hit the hunts, but during the fall is tuff, especially when you coach fball and bball.

EnglishBabe and Laura,
I do believe we have one of the hardest jobs. Just because we are at home, people don't think we work. Nothing could be further from the truth!
When people ask what I do for work I say, I don't have time for a paying job. I'd have to stay up around the clock to get everything done!

Sampson.Laura,English>>.
Roger that. Long ago my sister started having babies and running a house and I kept working for a check and I would always tell her "your job is 10x harder than mine!" My job stops when I walk out the gate.
