National Redbone Coonhound Association Days

I was just wondering if anyone is going to be at the NRCA Days up in Bellevue, Mi on June 30-July 2? It is only 3 weeks away. If you are going, it is time to go out in your backyard and decide what dog that you are going to hunt.

Mine wasn't a very hard decision once I walked outside, Richard Little Rattle and I will be there!

Corey, what about Bruiser? I thought that you had to choose between Rattle and Bruiser? What if someone makes you a big offer on Rattle between now and then? Surely your life is not that easy at your age.

Where is Chad Cartwright? Will the Big Coop make his comp debut in Mi? If Hillbilly brings Lil Reba down to you, can you bring her over to Mi so that I can hunt her? It will take a real quick tree dog to win up there. You won't need a track dog. This will be a completely different hunt from Trenton.

Richard

It's hard to hunt a dog that isn't in your backyard lol Mr. Hutchison wouldn't quote me a price on him in Tennessee, so I guess we play the waiting game now

Corey, it took me 2 years of aggravating/pestering them with offers before they would sell Boone to Andy and I. And in this heat, it is a whole lot easier to hunt one if they get him ready for you. John, will that GD Red dog be in Michigan or are you going to hunt Max? Didn't you do pretty good there last year? I bet those Midnight Outlaws will be there in force. If it wasn't for the fellowship and getting to see old friends, I would just stay home. I know that no one else has any chance of winning anything. Do the Nighty Nite boys have anything that can compete with those Outlaws? What about all of those guys from Pennsylvania?

2 years?!?! We could have him finished to GRNITECH by then lol

I would love to come to Michigan. I always have a great fellowship there. It just seems those moonlight/outlaw fellas sure do have the dogs to compete in that part of the country. Maybe if my time allows it, I can come up and see some of those dogs in action . I may bring a couple of pot lickers to donate my money with. Good luck to all that come and try to compete.

Mr Marshall, which dog are you going to drag out from behind your barn and bring up there? Did you pick up Shock? I guess that we all know who Shane will be hunting. What about Danny, Spud the Stud, Jessie and that new guy named Artie? Y'all have quite a crew of handlers now. What about that Sawblade guy? Kelly, are you ready to stick your toe back in the water and get your feet wet again? I hope that Jeff and Jessie stay home. They are too hard to beat. Is anyone else planning to come up and try to take on the Midnight Outlaws?

I Don't know yet may just bring two or three with me lol
I started Artie on his Lyme disease meds yesterday lol

Think spud will be hunting a dog that if it won would be a sixth straight gen red days winner that would be neat

That would be extra neat. Do you think that Spud could hold up under all the pressure if he won the first 2 nights? I bet Danny would have to step in. Just because you bred Ky Kate does not mean that you can't hunt her.

George, are you back home yet? Are you going to bring Whizzie? Will TinkerBell be there?

Kate's just a good mom she is coming to watch her sons and daughter compete and cheer them on from the side lines 😛

Mark, I think that Kill Shott is a heavy Metal group. I don't think that they were around in the 70's. You probably need to request something by Mettalica or maybe Kiss. I don't think that a bunch of coonhunters would "appreciate" them.

Has anyone heard from those crazy Nighty Nite guys? Will Johno's daughter be hunting in the youth cast this year?

Posted by Richard Lambert on 06-18-2016 05:06 PM:

It sounds like Jared, Corey, Chad, BB and I are the only ones brave enough or foolish enough to think that we can take on those Midnight Outlaws on their own turf.

I've been trying to get Gingrich to play Cat Scratch Fever for us Mark. He says only if I play the drums.

I got my senior citizen handlers all lined up and we are ready to rock and roll!

Whataya mean "lined up"? Aren't you old enough?

If you have 4 Midnight Outlaw dogs and handlers all in the same cast, is that really a "win" for the Midnight Outlaws?

Is it really a win for the VA Cartel when that happens?
I'm pretty sure the guys hunting Moonlight and Outlaw dogs will be spread out evenly in registered, nt.ch. and gr.nt.ch. categories and some are already qualified for the world so they won't be in the RQE on thursday night.
I hope we don't draw another one of our dogs....it just cuts down on the odds of more of us winning casts.
