Blue Creek Speck

Gauge X Alice. Big motor. Does not check in. Very accurate. High pitch squall mouth. Good locate and mostly chop on tree. Very independent but will let others work with her. Will be split alot. Speck will be bred to Leon when she comes in heat.

This is why I was asking about both. See if you can stack the deck to get one that can compete at the high levels of the other kc's.

Novicane65

I believe there is some top females and males in the blue dog breed if was stacked together could really bring the blue dog breed up to where it should be . And could perform in any of the KC you go to the pro hound fourms and see how many stud dog's are silver champion are gold champion my experience is not just anything gonna do much winning in a elimination style hunt takes one with the wright tools not many out there male are female with the wright tools

BOBBIE ANN SHEBA

The Bobbie gyp owned by Ed Mauney has done a Lot of winning and has a big motor. She will flat get gone and get treed With the Coon. She was bred to BOTOX a couple weeks ago owned by Jason in Iowa. I hunted with Botox in cast at Bluetick Days last year and he has a Big Motor. Near end of hunt Botox was treed a mile from us and to the right and my dog, BO, was treed 3/4 of mile and to the left. Gr. Nt. Ann female owned by Darren Williams of La. was bred to my BO last week. She is a fine female with a big motor also and fun to hunt. Mr. Jack's Sheba gyp is Dual Grand and a fine hound. I haven't hunted with her but Mr. Jack hunts Top Hounds and he says she is one of the best hounds he has ever unsnapped. He bred her to Smilin Bob last week. Bob is owned by me and Mr. Ed and he has a big motor and will get deep and get treed with the Coon. A pup out of ANY of these 3 litters would tilt the odds in your favor of getting what your looking for in a hound with Ability, Mouth and MOTOR.

Haggermans split shot
Eatons blue Jewel
Max destruction

These 3 females have the biggest motors of any blue female I've seen!

Exactly what I've been trying to say. Not many that are silver ch, let alone gold. And if you got one worth taking to town I'd be taking it. Ace is definitely a top dog. I hope guys would register their dogs and go to some of these hunts. But I think I'm spinning my wheels on that.

It's really hard to make a silver or gold champion when you live in a state with only 1 Pkc club unless your independently wealthy!

Posted by Drummerblue2 on 03-11-2017 08:57 PM:

Top female's

It may be difficult for some to make silver are gold champion in PKC . I also find it to easy to make nt champion are Gran night some folks say PKC is all about money bottom line is the hound world seems to be all about money know matter what KC it is. I personally like PKC atleast when I win in PKC I get more than a yellow slip at a local club and it takes a coon dog to win big motor and lonely with a coon Will get you in the final round a lot

Smilin Bob is doubled up on Salin Sadie. His Sire, Bocephus is off Bodacious and Salin Sadie. His Dam is off Boomer and Salin Sadie. This was a half brother sister cross that produced 4 males that are now 20 months old. One is already a Nt. Ch. with 3 first place wins this past winter. Another in Wisconsin has been treeing a pile of Coon for his owner and I think they are about to start putting him in the hunts. The other male in La. hasn't been hunted the last I heard. You can see a picture of his Dam, Gr. Nt. Ch. Ch. Il. Smokey River Bobbie in the new BBCHA Bluebook that just came out. Page 215. There are hard going females out there and this is a good thread to get them recognized. I also Believe there is a Shortage of Top, Hard Going, Young Females in our breed. I will be keeping a female pup from Ann and Bo and also a female pup from Bob and Sheba so hopefully I will have a couple of these nice females. My Old gyp Stormy is 10 now so it's time to find her replacement. Good luck with your Hounds and Good Hunting.

All you fellow's with females that have these traits .
Big motor
Lonely layup ability
Accurate
Big mouth

I would like to hear about them I personally would like to do my share of winning in the KC . I want a hound with these traits so please share with us what you have

Steve might have something? Sadie was as nice as we have hunted that would get in the dark and stay treed with the meat. Our Dizzie female is a litter mate to bosephus and she has as much go as ANY man would want, and I have hunted with Bobbie many times and she can get deep, very good mouth, stays treed ,and has the meat. I kind of see a pattern here!

Posted by sleepyblues on 03-13-2017 03:12 PM:

Thanks steve

Ann fits all the above. Big mouth accuracy is very high. She trees coons from tree to tree not pick up and move. She can trer lay ups with out a bark on the ground and move from one tree without a coon shot out and go 30 yards and tree again. And she is still not a super dog. I like to compete in all ukc or pkc. She won all the pkc hunts i put her in with plus points but one that i lost by 25 points. If we had more dogs at the pkc hunts and more of them around me with out me driving 3 hours and 4 or 5 dogs show up Ann would have been in more of them. Right now she is a ch. In pkc and was in heat for the state hunt in La. And was breed last summer and didn't hunt much pkc last year. Hopefully she has healthy pups and bounce back and we will hunt as many bigger pkc hunts we can.

Split shot

Shes not perfect but 1 thing is for sure you cut her loose she's going hunting and getting treed somewhere and will not hesitate to leave a section and look for a new set of woods. She is a consistent cast winner and can rack up a score. She will be 1st tree or stretch her legs and get split treed quick. Has around 700 in very limited $kc hunts. Not many that suit me but she has so far

Big motor

Folks if you have a female with a big motor And what I mean by big motor is when you cut her loose she leaves in a hurry and moving threw the area searching for a coon at a fast rate of speed looking to get treed Drop after drop wether your hunting a hour are hour's And no reverse. I want you to tell us about what you have please

Good deal glad to hear it...

Posted by blueticker on 03-14-2017 04:19 AM:

A fast hunting rate for me is 4 to 6 miles per hour. Some hunters may like faster, I don't. The best 3 females that I have hunted with are Cindy & Josie both owned by Jerrold Parker. Both will get under a coon when turnt loose. Josie is my pick for competition. The third one is Irene, I own her. Irene will leave the same on the first turnout or the 10th. Hunt her 10 nights in a row for 6 or 8 hours each night, you get the same results when turnt loose, a treed coon.

Irene & Cindy are sisters from different litters. Mailes Bob X Two an Utchman Hornet gyp.

Hemi had a big motor. She had away more bark than I enjoy.
