Government Bailout

President Trump said today that he is going to send me a check to buy me a turbocharger for my little hot rod truck. It will stimulate the auto industry and keep me quaranteed until I get it installed.
But at the same time, they have closed down the local drag strip so I will have to outlaw street race.

Richard it will be ok because ever one else will be locked in their house.

You are right. No one is out after dark now. The police aren't arresting anyone now anyway. I drew out with the County Sherriff at the hunt I went to last night and he sure was mad. He said that they had turned a burglar loose that he had worked for 3 months to catch and lock up. They don't have a single case of Caronavirus in their county but they are turning criminals loose. Now how ridiculous is that?

If everyone gets a $1000 check there will be no keeping everybody quarantined. They’ll all be payday rich and out spending and mingling. Talk about spreading the virus.

Oh my goodness, Shumer is holding up my check now.

Now Chucky wants to give me a $200/month raise instead of the one time $1,200.

People will need that $1000 to fix their kids 4 wheelers. All the kids are out of school here and they are spending their time wisely mud riding all night. Ain't nothing more frustrating than a bunch of 4 wheelers ripping and roaring over and over in the same mud hole all night. And I'm paying $600 a year to hunt listening to a bunch of trespassing teenagers all night.

How anyone could stand up and call themselves a Democrat and be proud of that is beyond common sense. Just look at what your Democrat lawmakers are doing to prevent the stimulus package from passing, just because it's a Republican backed deal. If they can not work with the Republicans in a time like this, it shows exactly what they are and it's not pretty. Makes me sick. Nuff said! Dave

Democrats trying to load up this package with things like planned parenthood just makes me sick. Democrats are something to behold that they would stoop to this level knowing how desperate things are and try to get crap like this put into the package. Holding a much needed package ransom for this kind of b.s. should be a crime. Dave

The government bailout doesn't matter now. The crisis will be over before Dems pass it. Most people will be back at work next week. I guess that I won't get my turbo until the market recovers but it is back up 1,500 pts already today. If anyone is sitting on some cash, they had better jump back in before it is too late.

Oh my goodness, I just heard that Pelosi added +45 million dollars to the bailout bill to go to the Kennedy Center For The Performing Arts. Surely I should get $1,000 for a turbo for my Lil Blue Truck. Maybe I should promise to take her for a ride in it. I wonder what the Kennedy Center promised her?

I found Nasty Nancy's phone # on Google so I left a message on her machine. We will see if it works.

Although Nasty Nancy didn't call me personally, one of her assistants did. She said that the money would be on the way at the first of next week. She said that as soon as I got the turbocharger installed and the self quarantine order was lifted that I would have to come to Washington DC to give Nancy a ride in my lil blue truck.

Richard, I thought you would use your check to paint that blue truck red.

If they are going to go ahead with this.Why are they giving business and no telling what else money? Businesses should have money to operate on.If they don't then they should just go out of business.If going to do this just give it to the people the $1200 or whatever amount they come up with.Or in my opinion which I'm sure most if not all will disagree with is don't give out any money.Where do they plan to get this money? Writing checks for money they most likely don't have Or will have to borrow from somewhere and in the end we will have to pay for it.Only the government can do something so stupid as spend money they don't have.

You are the first person to pick up on the fact that the government is writing checks that just puts them deeper in debt. We should have to have s balanced budget, can't spend more than you take in, no our government just extents the debt ceiling to fund more programs. In truth our government is bankrupt, they owe way more than they are worth. If our government was an individual, they would have no choice but to file bankruptcy. Government has way outspent what they take in for so long, there is NO chance ever of having a balanced budget. Everyone wants a piece of the pie that's free, but no one wants to pay for it.why do you think certain cities and states have filed for bankruptcy, theyowe more than they take in and can not pay the bills. Our government operates just like some kid with a bundle of checks, they just keep writing checks even though they do not have the funds to cover the checks, just going deeper and deeper in debt.
