Who uses one for coon hunting? Thought and upgrades you'd suggest?

I’ve got a Ruger charger I like pretty well that’s similar sized.

For another 80 or so bucks you can get the Ruger charger and have more than one shot. I just bought one and love it. I drilled a hole in the pistol grip so I could add a sling stud. I carry it over my shoulder. Very light and a straight shooter. I also put a scope with a lighted crosshair on it.

Guns

I hunt in steep mountains where weight matter to a old man (73) and over the years I have tried many guns. Savage makes a small lightweight rifle called the Rascal a single shot that's easy to load and easy to carry. I recommend this rifle. I own 2 rascals, a ruger charger, a Chipmunk and 3 crickets, along with many other 22 rifles and pistols. The Savage Rascal is hard to beat weight, accuracy, and price. It will also, serve as a training rifle for children. You can mount a scope if desired, but will have to buy the scope mount. PM me for any questions. The ruger charger is heavy and very hard to position for shots, however you can buy a brace for them to shoulder mount like a rifle. Dave

Are you talking about the charger- if so I'm interested in one of those also.... How did you rig up the stock? I see Ruger makes one model with an adapter pre installed; however, I don't think you can find that one in stock anywhere now. It also has a shorter barrel and screw type end to the barrel for a suppressor.
