How slick a dog off

I have 3 year old dog always little coarse/rough haired. Wormed out good and on regular tick and heartworm meds. Feeding Purina pro plan sport. Cant get him slick off with healthy shiny coat. Tried several other feeds with same results. Any ideals or just one them deal with it things?

Dogs

DYNE LIQUID FOR DOGS, if you have access to a meat locker cracklings will slick one up in a hurry, I've used both depending on availability ......

I'll be surprised if you get him to slick off. Couple of dogs on his momma's side are course-haired like he is. If i remember correctly, his mother had some brothers and sisters that were that way. He looks pretty good over there in the country with a coon by himself, course hair and all 😎.

Every once in awhile, that line will throw one of those red looking blueticks.

I'm with ya Cory not sure I will every get him slicked off. Daughter wanting start showing some or i wouldnt worry about it. He has a lot red tent to him pretty rare to see. I dont know if he is glad be back in Missouri but I know I am glad he is.

Try putting coconut oil in his food ...not too much..will tear his stomach up..

Works for me...just throwin it out there

Throw a raw egg or two, and if you have some, a little left over grease from the frying pan, into his food every day for a week or two and his hair may have a good shine to it.
