Wind
Just curious how the wind affects your hunts and your dogs tracking ability. I obviously didn’t have enough dog power last night in the wind, my male seemed to struggle with the tracks last night.
Plenty of good hunting in the wind. Sound of the wind covers the sound of a dog/vehicle/gunshot so more places to hunt too

Good point 🤔
If it's blowing hard enough to make it hard to hear the dogs I just don't enjoy it much even though Garmin will tell me where the dogs are.

Wind
I hate hunting on real windy nights, just takes the fun out , makes it hard or impossible to hear the dogs. I stayed home last night because the wind was blowing hard. I would hate to live where the wind blows hard all of the time, but I know some of you guys do and hunt in the wind all of the time. Dave
