Uncle x Niece cross. This is a family type breeding with a focus on producing dogs with known traits. This strain has it’s strengths and weaknesses. The sire is line bred RC x Jenny with Jaggs and June on top and bottom. The dam is also line bred RC x Jenny along with an outcross to some northern blood with Speed Wagon in her second generation as the Grandsire on her bottom side. Notable Uchtman hounds and offspring back up both the sire and dam as well. Some of the stronger traits for this family of hounds include: natural ability, quality of mouth, desire to compete, tree power, disposition and personability, kennel quietness, looks and ability to show.
