Microchip question

Is there anyway to add a microchip # to a dogs registration without having to send the papers in?

Actually hasn’t been too bad, been sitting around 32 or up into the mid 40s prob. Been getting out hunting 4 or so nites a week.
I’m living right in town now and after my young dog made a escape last week I decided to get off my ass and spend the money to get them microchipped so that if they get loose and someone finds them it’s extra insurance they can get ahold of me and I would like the info attached to their registration papers

Not sure, but I would think you could take it to a notary to have it done.
