Tarrattler (Yadintar )

I think its time for one of your hunting in the "jungles" of oklahoma stories. Please throw in a few rattlesnakes to entertain our yankee friends. Dave

Well acorns are falling pecans are ready I took Fred last night he treed one I been giving him a few he wants to come back to the tree so I sent him from the tree when he tried to circle back I toned him and yelled at him he went on and treed anouther one. Hogs are thick they eat snakes I have seen a few dead on the road but none in the woods but there are plenty of them somewhere lol.

Tar

That's one good thing about hogs, the other is they make good eating! Sounds like you and fred are going to make a pretty good team. Dave

In the woods 2 night's ago dropped 2 dog's they run in circled around struck and treed . It was starting to rain I geared up and headed into them . Stop every once in a bit make sure they was still hooked . Water was deep up to my thighs I stopped listened looked around big ol water bandit crossing broke and got gone . I just continued on got about 60 yards from them and they broke and run . Get to where they was treeing looking for a diller no holes everythings under water i stomped all around and the water broke behind me . Then i heard the hiss . I turned around there he was a little 6 foot gator and he was some kind of pissed off . So I grabbed a little pine tree limb and popped him on the nose real good and he couldn't stand it he had to go from there . I guess the dog's chewed on him for about 10 15 minutes before I got there . I caught up with the dog's about 30 mins later about about a mile away . Then we went down to the other side cut loose and they broke for about 800 yards before I caught them up again we never did get treed .

I think its a mutual benefit. You needed Fred and Fred needed you- now thats what makes a team. You will grand him no doubt. Happy hunting to the both of you, just be safe. Dave
