Just thinking Bruce lol.
After last night I decided for$3,000 I could buy 6 better dogs than what I got right now at $500 a piece. The one counting the 22 bullets going to make me loose more than that leaving me with a 9 yr old one eyed female that by the way looked really good last night pitifull ain't it lol!!
.
On a serious note. Does your female really have one eye and for how long? Has that caused her any problems hunting. I have a litter here just over 3 months old and the runt struggled from the beginning but I gave it a lot of attention. It didn't open its eyes to about 3 weeks which is longer than any pup I ever saw. I am pretty sure it is blind in one eye. My buddy is getting him and he is a beauty and full of life.

Yes they took the eyeball out and sewed the eyelids shut to keep stuff out of it she was one of a three pup litter I raised I did not train her she like her littermates were all above average I just got her healed all up she still gets down an old bad track like a four year old you ever wonder how much eyesight has to do with their coon treeing ability at night I mean do they really need it that much without their nose what would they do what do you think !!
I feel your pain Yadkintar. Got one here that's costing me more to feed and take care of then 2 other dogs, and is a long ways off from impressing me yet. The next month will determine how close to my last nerve I am.

Fathom the hypocrisy of a government that requires every citizen to prove they are insured… but not everyone must prove they are a citizen. Now add this: Many of those who refuse, or are unable, to prove they are citizens will receive free insurance paid for by those who are forced to buy insurance because they are citizens.
This young dog I was really liking him till he showed a little aggression last night every time I get one with some of that stylish hickory crazy nuts in its pedigree it's mixed with my stuff but way back but every one has a magnified fault I just can't live with I will work on him but if I fail he will be not live till his second birthday. Maybe I just expect to much soon as his momma comes in I am going to bone.
Brice I've had two huntin buddies thru the years that had a dog that lost an eye. Both dogs in their prime it didn't affect either one of them as far as huntin goes. Eye took completely out of the socket and sewed shut.
