Stud Dog Ads
Is it just me or are stud dog ads going the way of the dodo bird. Bloodlines has a few this month, and AC has a few. I remember back to the days that stud dog ads filled the books. For years I saved all my magazines because i used them for research. Today while I still enjoy the old magazines, the new ones after I read them I just don't have the desire to keep them anymore.

Larry, I think you mentioned you just moved up to a flip phone. Another couple steps forward and you will find Social Media. Not saying you will like what you find. Just trying to point you in a direction that might answer your question.
It is all about views, likes and tags now a days. lol
I remember the days I read the magazines from cover to cover. I could get on the phone with someone and tell them by memory what page a certain ad was on. Now I can't remember to tell someone what month the ad was run. Just click on Facebook and you don't need a memory. Everyones life is posted on there. From the dog they hunt, to where they hunt it to what colored underwear they wore hunting.
Let the wife burn their dinner and I can almost smell the smoke from my computer.

Bruce,
You are right I am behind the times. The social media I limit myself to are coon hound forum sites. I have no desire to explore facebook, instagram, or twitter. They all seem to cause more trouble than good.
I still like a firm hand shake, looking a fella straight in the eyes, and talking face to face. I enjoy sitting on the tailgate and bsing or sharing conversation over a hot cup of coffee.
I don't even want to talk about what goes through my mind when i see someone around your or my age walking down the street blindly texting on their smart phone, or worse while driving!!!
My theory is smart phones should be called dumb phones. The reason is no one thinks they have to memorize anything anymore it is in their phone. Yes smart phones make us all dumb. A brain is like a muscle ... if you don't use it you lose it.
