Thanks so much for the information. I will give them a look. I do have one ordered and should have it in October. Wish I had it now as I am planning to leave EARLY Friday morning to go the Navajo Reservation which is a 12 hour drive. Good thing is that it is dry and not too cold. I was planning to take two young gyps for their inaugural voyage out there but one is in heat. I will take four from here and pick my Jack dog up on the way. Its a little early but I simply can't pass up the opening weekend of lion season.
Adios,
Gary

Gary don't modernize your equipment too much. I own those sparkling boxes but love the look of yours. Brings back memories and that is just what I need on Saturday morning watching your show and drinking my coffee. Memories of the old days to inspire me to go out and face modern times.

Mine are a little primitive but rugged and cool in this Texas heat. Thanks so much for watching.
Adios,
Gary

Going to have to postpone my hunt as one dog is crippled, one in heat and another sick at stomach. I am going to try to get off on the 10th or 11th and that way I can hunt longer as well.
The last thing you want to do is go that far and not have enough dog power to hunt more than a couple of days. I will haul 6 and road hunt three dogs at a time. Once I get a strike, I turn the other three dogs to the three on the ground. Last year, I hunted 10 days straight and hunted 5 dogs. I put all of them on the ground, so one got a rest. After six days, my two males that are a little bigger, stouter type were passing a little blood which is caused by stress. After that, I started feeding the Dog Forte with the Black Gold Performance Blend and did not experience this again. The dogs were putting an average of 30 miles per day according to the Garmin.
Adios,
Gary
