well started

To me a well started dog should be running and treeing alone and split treeing as well. Having a few quirks needing worked out but not alot.

2 weeks no respones

so that is whats wrong with now day blueticks. Nobody can tell if they have one started. Maybe you have to ask the walker guys.

Once again, it is relative

There is no black and white iron clad answer to the question due to the human factor. It is relative to each persons definition. If a person happens to be interested in a well started dog, it would be in that persons best interest to ask the seller to define what they are calling well started. If their definition differs drastically from yours, you will be glad you asked the question.

Talking

Must be a dog that eats and craps; I bought a couple dogs that was advertised as started and all they did was eat and crap! Ha Ha
