Unsure about u.k.c. hunt rules

I just started back into hunting......I purchased the ADVISOR second edition, so that i could catch up on all the rule changes if any.... In reading the rules it reads that you cannot use a gps tracking unit during a hunt....Unless a time out is called.......Then after talking to some Hunters that have been hunting recently, they tell me that you can use your tracking unit during a hunt...That a timeout does not have to be called............I AM CONFUSED......I am assuming since U.K.C. is selling the advisor for $15 each, and it says in the opening few pages that this book is the official interpretation of the rules, that you can NOT use a gps system unless a timeout has been called.............If anybody has thoughts or knows more please INFORM ME........It is very possible that i am not reading the book correctly
.Thanks.....

Some of the rules have changed since the advisor was printed. Get a current rule book. You can use your GPS tracking system during the hunts now. You cant have it on you if your using a shocking collar. A reguluar collar you can look at it all night.

The Garmin rule has been "WELL DOCUMENTED" if you haven't read about it on here or in Bloodlines it get's read to everybody before the hunt starts at every night hunt I've been at since the change.
