Opening Night In Va?

How'd everyone do last night?

I dropped Hoss 4 times last night.

First drop ended in a hole, second drop three up one tree, third drop slick on a persimmon tree in the middle of a Autumn Olive thicket, fourth drop he hit a cold feeder track wasn't saying much on it and then slammed the tree with the meat.

First drop dogs didn't want to hunt where I dropped and hit the road for a good ways. Second drop looooong track with a big one one the limb.

Thursday night only made one drop cuz had to be at work at 3 friday mornin, dogs went 950 yards and treed 50 yards from the lake. Got headed in and got excited cuz I saw a bear track right where the dogs had run through, got on the same ridge they were on and things got quiet so I ran in there and they were wayyyyy back in a big hole up under the ground. Buddy stuck his head in there while I was tyin dogs back and seen a coon. Didnt get out last night but plan to go tonight. Glad the weather finally got good and cool, makes huntin more enjoyable.

Made 1 drop with 2 hounds and about 700 yards later treed a triple. Back home by 930. Try again tomorrow, good luck everybody!
