Passing of BBCHA Emeritus Bd. Membr.

BBCHA Pres. Jim Combs has asked me to notify the UKC board of the passing of BBCHA Emeritus Board Member T.E. Neely of Pine Bluff, AR. More details as they become available.

T.E. served on the Board of Directors for 44 years and hosted some of the
largest BBCHA Fall Round Ups in memory. He also promoted several famous Bluetick stud dogs--the likes of GRNTCH 'PR' Northern Blue Jet II and ACHA and UKC GRNTCH, 1977 ACHA Little World Champion, 1977 Arkansas State Champion'PR' Neely's Lewman's Blue Pilot.

Condolences are extended to family and friends of this great Bluetick promoter.

Funeral Arrangements for T.E. Neely

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, April 27, 2015. at Buie Funeral Home in Rison, AR. Burial will follow at Prosperity Cemetery in Herbine.

T.E. was 85 years old and a WW II vet, serving 5 years in Germany. He served BBCHA in several capacities for many years. "Mr Neely was an avid sportsman, he worked closely with the Arkansas Game and Fish to preserve the wildlife of Arkansas."

I wish i knew half as much about training a dog and half as many places to hunt as Mr Neely. He was a good friend that im thankful to have knowed. I was lucky to have been able to spend a lot of time in the woods with him.
