pup question
I have a 4 month old walker pup that tracks a drag and even trees it with a little encouragement. He's 40 lbs and pretty fearless. I only work with him once a week or less. His obedience and lead training are good. I'm wondering if I should show him a live coon now and see his reaction, if its good maybe let it go for him to track and tree? Any input on the next step would be appreciated thanks
just my opinion, id wait on showing him a live coon, hes kinda young. but if you do an it scares him id get it away asap.

I would worry about him getting bit that could set him back at that age.

training
I'm keeping up with the obedience training constantly and I'm really trying to keep him wanting that coon hide. I play with him with it after he trees it for 5 seconds then put it away for a week. He tries harder and harder to get it every time
treeing on sight
beware of this. no advantage of treeing on sight.
