Good man. First met him when I was 16 years old in 1989 and he judged me at one of the shows during the first year of the Red, White & Blue Classics in Iola, WI. Will never forget him.

Jim Simpson was not just one of the most respected UKC Field Reps ever, he was my friend. I learned a lot from Jim about how to deal with people. He was a kind, honest, knowledgeable, giving, happy, and hard working individual. The world and the sport needs more people like Jim Simpson.

I feel terrible that I cannot attend Jim's funeral today for personal reasons but my thoughts are with Patty and her family and with Jim's many friends. Gonna miss ya Pops!

I attended the viewing for Jim last night. There was a big crowd and a lot of fellow coonhunters there. Saw some faces that I hadn't seen in a long time. He will be missed
