Female in heat in HTX hunt

Can a female that is in heat be run in an HTX hunt? I obviously wouldnt want to take her if i thought she would accept but she just started bleeding on Saturday and the HTX hunt is on Thursday. Does anyone think this is cutting it too close?

I am assuming that you are replying to it being too close so does HTX rules allow for a female who may be in her cycle?

Clay, females in season, regardless of what stage, may be hunted in HTX events. The reason they can be scratched in a nite hunt is because they might interfere with other dogs in the cast. In HTX events they are the only one out there so no issues with females in season.

I sure wouldn't take the risk.Plenty of stray dogs and yotes out there looking for love.My female was fully ovulating 5 days after she started bleeding.Just my 2 cents.Goodluck either way.
