Thanks Garmin

Hunting Fri. nite at a local hunt. when we started to turn loose my garmin said i was getting interferance from another collar. i changed number and turned dogs loose. my dog went 550 yards and lost signal. i looked for her the most of the nite and most the day Sat. i was hunting close to home and was blameing my garmin for droping signal. Sunday evening and not heard anything thought i would try something else. so setting at home useing the measure distance useing the last place i had her and setting in my drive waymeasured 2.7 mile. that nite after church i started to the spot i had lost signal. it took me witin 20 feet of a hole that my dog had fallen in. got her out and she fine. so i give my garmin credit fo saveing he life.

Good thing you had you Astro on

or you would not have gotten the signal. After a dog shooting in SE Iowa last spring and the shooter destroyed the collars, I now leave a second Astro running in the pickup. That way one will show where the collar lost signal in a nite hunt.

Sup Larry, have you hunted with the new Alphas yet? Ive had one for a while now and it picks up better than the 220s and 320s. Really are nice outfits. Glad you found the hound..
How was the youth hunt? I wanted to show but I don't have kids and usually hunt alone. Take Care
