-- how would you score this (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928318368)
how would you score this
HI 3 dog cast dog 1 1st strike dog two 2nd strike dog 3 3rd strike dog 1 went to the right dog 2 and 3 to the left dog one treed 1st about 200 yards in 3 and 2 about 250 yards to the left running track tree is closed going in to tree dog 2 and 3 are called treed with dog one dog one is treed on 3 trees about 25 feet apart running tree to tree barking up all 3 trees had a coon in it dog 2 and 3 came in on one of the 3 trees and treed and did not move so i ask how would you score this .I will tell you how it went late........... Thanks for the help. here it is as we were going to the dog treed the other 2 dog went in to the tree they were called treed .the handlers said that they sound deeper the judge said ok. wen we got to the tree dog one was barking up tree to tree never put her nose down all three trees the limes were touching now 3 coon were sen 1 in each tree in my eyes I should of got plus points strike and tree .the other 2 dogs minis points for being on the same tree here is how they called it i got minis on track and tree for leaving the tree this all happen in 25 feet with 3 coon seen the other two dogs got plus points .the 2 handlers and judge my dog did not tree on one tree that left the other 2 trees open .this is a bad call in my eyes so what is the right call thank you
Why would 2 and 3 tree their dogs on a closed tree?
Unless the trees are determined to touch and scored as 1 all dogs should be takeing some minus.

Dog 2 and 3 couldn't take no tree points if they tree was already closed.

What a mess....
Pretty hard post to read...almost makes no sense..
But dog 2 and 3 have to be declared split..going in for 125 and 75.
Dog 1 is minused for leaving tree unless they are all scored as one tree
You don't know what tree dog 1 was originally on...but it doesn't matter because dogs 2 and 3 came in to closed tree...sounds lime after judge arrives...so they are min used 125 and 75 and rescored for coming in after judge arrives.
Any time a dog is declared treed after a tree is closed it is a split tree call. If found on that closed tree they are minused 125 right off the bat...

Were all three trees scored as one? That is question you must first answer. If so then dogs 2 and 3 are minused. If not and dog one is going from tree to tree then it would be minused and dogs 2 and 3 could be plussed. Sounds like all three trees should have been scored as one and dogs 2 and 3 minused. But I wasn't there to see.

NC, dogs 2 and 3 were declared treed then "came into tree". So they weren't treeing...therefore they are both minussd tree points right off the bat...from what I can understand in that post....
