-- I'm wanting ideas for feeder buckets (http://forums.ukcdogs.com/showthread.php?threadid=928300114)
I'm wanting ideas for feeder buckets
I use a 5 gallon bucket with a lid and glued a piece of PVC pipe in the bottom
Any other ideas what to use for a feeder
Used a tire before but it was slow to fill it up and corn is high priced
Any ideas
I have a tire with no rim hung up in a tree about 5 foot off the ground right beside a big creek and fill it with dog food or whatever bait you want to use works.
Barrels are the best but easly found . This is what I've came across and works good , get two 5 gallon buckets both with lids . Take and stand one bucket on top the other drill two holes in the bottom of the top bucket down through the lid on the bottom then bolt them toghthor I use two 3/8 bolts . Then I take a hole saw and drill some holes usually 4 the same way top bucket into bottom bucket lid , put you a PVC pipe nipple in bottom bucket . I fill bottom and top bucket up with dog feed , the top bucket fills the bottom bucket through the hole saw holes . Works good plus usually I can get 50 lb in the buckets . Usually take pancake syrup and poor over bottom bucket feed to draw em in but just plan dry feed in top bucket that way it filters down into bottom bucket and fills it .

We have so many bear now. Mine don't last long. I got hooked up with s cat lover. They use a crap load of kitty litter. I got a building full of kitty litter buckets. They almost 5 gallon but square. I cut a hole in side at bottom. Ratchet it to a tree. Once bear totes it off. I make another.

I keep soured corn here at the house and put maybe a half gallon of it in a 5 gallon bucket. Then top it off with dry corn ( A WHOLE BUCKET OF ALL SOUR IS HECK TO CARRY ANY DISTANCE) That little bit will get the fresh stuff to souring a lot faster. I put it near a water source and top the bucket off with water. When the bucket gets low they will knock it over.
Ok thanks for ideas and input
I've poured kool aid mix on corn and dog feed
