Rain

We finally got some rain here yesterday and today. First real rain since Aug 3rd. Just in time for opening season on the 20th. Dogs should have a little easier time. We need a lot more but every little bit helps. Areas around us got more and we are suppose to get more yet tonite and maybe tomorrow, hope so. The fire danger around here was in the explosive range, I don't even know what that meant but it was bad. Dropped to moderate today.

It has been sprinkling all day here. I have been keeping track and from May until now, we will finally have broken one inch of precipitation. Been a hot, miserable, dry year. About sick of the dust and I'm pretty sure I will have to reseed my lawn next year because there are spots where dirt is showing where there used to be thick blue grass.

Had 2 1/2" in the last week. Where was these rains in July & August??? Just a farmers point of view!! Take care, Ron.

we got a pretty good storm here in my part of wv even got alittle hail not very big balls but it was hail lol still raining

Alota sprinklin last few days here but 2 inches where im working,the ground is rock hard a couple inches down!
