Pup mills and registries
Have the KC's taken any action as far as regulating those that produce alot of litters?
Limiting the number of litters that can be registered or revoking registration if certain conditions aren't met. Its hard to sell a dog without papers.
I would rather the registries take action instead of bringing in the government myself. Thier management leaves record isnt very good.
I know dog owners wouldnt have any problem telling on someone
yes they already do revoke the rights of puppy mills that don't conform to basic principles of raising healthy pups
akc wants to stop importations of dogs and thats there main reason for supporting paws there are already many laws on the books that cover the humane treatment of dogs

I would like to know if there is really that many people importing dogs, and whats the cost of importing? I checked into buying a dog from England several years ago and the dogs I looked at aren't cheap. I can't believe that importing dogs is the main reason they want to pass the PAWS bill. I would like to see some numbers first. JMO

I an You are highly favored, deeply loved, forever forgiven, greatly blessed!!!! Why? because of Jesus!!!! Whats my job BELIEVE AND RECEIVE IT!!!
I've got a question. Just how many of these mass producing "puppy mills" are producing coonhounds???
not very many
darrell .......
i'LL PUT IT THIS WAY MY AUNT IMPORTED A DOG FROM jAPAN IT COST HER OVER $3,000 to do so. It aint cheap. If the PAWS passes then importation of dogs could end period. How amny of us have seen people from a foriegn country come on one of these sites and start asking questions because they want to start one of our breeds in thier country. Well alot of Americans do it too. if importation stops then we could loose some good breeds coming into America that some people like. Or it could even stop a new American breed of dogs. American breeds were started by mixing imported dogs.
