Got a ? about the NC coonseason

The last day of the coonseason is Feb. 28 here in north carolina. My question is how does it go out on a sunday? Anyone no.

coon season always goes out on last day of feburary. idk why they didnt say 27th in the book cuz ur right, cant hunt on sundays.

12:00 MIDNIGHT ON SATURDAY AS SUNDAY IS CONSIDERED CLOSED SEASON IN NC.

Look like they would have said either 27th or 1st or march. i no thats what they do for like deer season if january 1st is on a sunday here in the eastern part. I new I better have the gun unloaded by midnight it just didnt make much sence to me.
