When you stud just for the $ with out hunting with or geting some proof the bitch hunts like a dvd or video be it bear coon cat lion or yotes makeing sure the bitch hunts. Also not breeding a pupy young bitch just for fee and that way the man with the bitch can sell pups. Those are my big ones.

Explain the 2nd opinion please,

Br
not Breeding a young 6 month to 1 yr old female her first or second heat this is a big gambal for you the stud owner as this is just a started dog your breeding if the pups hunt good your aces if 50 percent off um dont turn out people are blameing you and your stud . This is why lot people only breed proven finshed f at least 2 yr old . hope this helps . I like your post i edited my post i ment not breeding a young bitch just becouse a man wants to pay a stud fee.
How about studding your dog to a bitch that isn't papered? What are your takes on this? And, what is a normal rate for what you should get for a stud fee?
In your peoples opinion, what is the best way to advertise that you have seen or tried?
Thanks, DJK

If your stud is good enough he will speak for himself. Most people(and this will probably ruffle some feathers) only advertise for the cash. Not saying this is wrong, just the way it is. I did see one that was outstanding. The fee was based on the bitches performance and was a sliding scale going down as the bitches awards went up. I thought this was quite unique.
Advertising on the other hand does put out there the choices for the discerning houndman to aquire the best stud available to him. So it does serve a purpose.
