Garmin detail

been playing with the garmin just gettin a feel on how to use it and had a few question. on roads does only the number always show up? got one sd card for mine but wondering if may need to get a different one. live in va and got the one for the northeast and wonder should i have the mid-atlantic one? just how much detail with sd card in should i have on mine. didnt try it without the card so dont really know how much of a difference it would make. thanks

make sure the card is in all the way,I had to put a piece of tape over my card to keep it seated, you should see roads creeks, should be a lot of detail

Have you zoomed in? They will not show much detail until you zoom in. Keep hitting the in button and you should see more detail appear.

Where/how do you get the Sd cards that are loaded ? Mine came with a route planner disc but no sd card.
