I got there about 5:45 Saturday evening. Yeah there were only 5 people there when I got there. There were only a couple dozen dogs I believe............TCB

you must have gotten there right as I was leaving. Did you see a green explorer? I waited on my receipts and got pictures made and then came back home to study again. Elvira won the GrCH and also Queen.

Well,,,,,,,,,,Not to good. On the first tree, I got 2nd strike and 1st tree. Circled. Big ole pine. Heard some growling on the wood. On the next turn out I got 3rd strike and tree. Slick tree. So I was actually minus 100 and could win the cast because, I feel, and another casts member felt, the dog that got into a scuffle at first tree, and I didn't see it but that dog didn't open his mouth the first time on the second turn out. He was caught by the handler where we turned them out at. When we were moving to get closer to the dogs. But anyways, dog in 3rd withdrew. Dog in first ain't hunting a lick and I'm at -100 and the other guy with the big walker,(the coldest nosed walker I ever hunted against, was -225, we turned out with 35 minutes left and I struck 1st,,, big walker 2nd,,,,3rd dog still ain't barked, dogs trail out to property line (road) and guide says catch -up dogs. Well 10 minutes burned and dog 3 gets caught where we let them loose,,,,,still ain't said a word. But I got a call and had to have my girls in Wilmington at 7am It was 1145 I was 2 hours from home, and I had to be up before 6 to get my girls to where they were filming One Tree Hill to be in it. So I withdrew.....and left the 2 dogs that I felt had scuffled earlier left. I ain't sure how it ended but I KNOW that the 3rd dog was not gonna hunt. I felt like, I had 25 minutes to go and it would take more than 125 to win the hunt.....So I decided to go home and get 3 hours sleep. They probably made 2 trees after I left but oh well,,,,but,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,I WILL NOT GO TO ANOTHER HUNT IF I HAVE A PREVIOUS ENGAGEMENT. ANOTHER THING..........All those folks that said they'd be there,,,,,,I didn't see any of them. And my dog was very HOT. She is 7 and a little out of shape,,,,,,like her POP!.......TCB

I saw most of the regulars that are normally there during a show. I wasn't able to go to the water race though.

Maybe I'll catch up w/ ya later.

I am planning on being at the NC state on Sat.

Yeah I wanted to go,,,,,,,but,,,,,,I am going to Georgia to get a young dog. They say she looks good and runs well. Its the only chance for a month that I'll be able to go get her so............I better go before she is gone!!! C-YA> Good luck at the STATE!!!!
