registration

Sorry, One more question.
Are the following UKC acknowledged regisries,"America's Pet Registry" or "American Canine Association,Inc." ?
Whoops 2 more questions.
And what advantage is it to have a dog registerd with so many registries ???

The acknowledged registries depend on the breed of dog. If you would like to give me that, I will be happy to tell you which are the acknowledged registries for that breed.

Multiple registration allows you to play in all the games that each registry offers. You can have your bloodlines recorded in all registries thereby making your dog more valuable. For example, if you have a male, you can stud your dog to females of different registries. And, last but not least, the main registry you choose should be one that works with you, that you enjoy working with and that you trust to record your bloodlines.

White GSD regiatration question

I have a 1 year old White Shepherd female that is CKC (continental kennel club) registered, either her parents or her grandparents are AKC and are still owned by her breeder. Since her breeder and I have a pedigree on her, is there any way to get her registered with UKC now? The breeder thought it was too much trouble to continue with AKC. He just didn't think about UKC. ( I really wish that he had).
Thanks,
Beth

Do you think the breeder would cooperate with you? If you could get an authorization from the breeder allowing you to register the dog along with copies of the AKC pedigrees of the sire and dam we would definitely consider your dog.
