breeding ?

i have a 7 month old jack russel and im trying to breed him too my buddies female and he dont seem interested at all (and yes she is in heat been flaging around him) all day is he to young

Likely too young. It will vary by individual dog but even if he tied with the female, his sperm may not yet be viable. Around 9 months is when they are more 'trustworthy' to be able to do their job... properly.

i don't know about the age thing, my redbone i got was seven months old and was and still is very interested in the girls!! if he don't get it he chirps like a coon its really funny, even though he does it all the time at some events!! i think i would just wait till he is older or give him some time...
