Youth Nationals

The 2007 Youth Nationals are this weekend in Madison, North Carolina. I'm working to get some candids posted and hopefully the results through the weekend. My laptop/internet isn't quite cooperating, so I may be delayed on posting. Just giving everyone an update!

Update! Laptop cooperated and candids are up! Stay tuned for results tomorrow!!

I just wanted to say thank you to UKC for allowing me to judge the 2007 Youth Nationals Bench Show. It was a great honor and I had a real blast doing it. It was probably the most fun that I have ever had judging. The kids were all very prepared, professional, and you could tell that they were having fun. I really enojoyed judging the little guy with the English...he was a doll!

Also, thanks to the Dan River CHA for hosting the event. The facility was nice and they were very helpful. Mrs. Brown was working hard!!! I am glad that we had the tent to have the show under since it decided to rain a little during the show.

I would also like to say congrats to everyone that exhibited a dog. Everyone did an amazing job exhibiting their dogs and it was a real joy to see all of those kids enjoying something that I love so much. Thanks to the parents for bringing all the kids out and spending the time with them to make sure that the sport we all love is here for many years to come. The quality of dogs that I had to judge was outstanding and that sure made the job tuff. All of the comments that I received after the show about my judging were greatly appreciated and I look forward to judging more events!

Amber you did a good job and you had a bunch of fantastic dogs to judge. Every kid that showed did a super job and they all held their own LOL no matter what size they were. There were these two little ones that were just outstanding they were so cute. I think that their dogs were taller than them. That was worth the whole show seeing them . UKC and Dan River CHA thank you all so much because with out your willingness to put these events on we would not have the oppertunity to enjoy not only our family but our hound family the way we all did THANKS SO MUCH for giving up your family time for our families and Amber again GOOD JOB
