Foreign Registry
Good Morning:
I will be flying in a puppy from Romania in September, will the registration that is provided from the breeder be acceptable for UKC. Or will I have to register him AKC then register him UKC.. Thank you in advance for any and all info. Ruthann

What breed and is the dog registered currently and if so with whom? I need these questions answered before I can advise you properly.
Hello Sarah:
Thank you for your help in this matter.
He is a German Shorthaired Pointer his parents are registered in Romania and he will be also. He will be microchipped before flying out.. His registration will be air mailed to me the same day he is shipped...
I am flying him in to keep my motherlines going. He will be flown in when he is roughly 12 weeks old.
I hope this helps. Kind Regards Ruthann

I am going to assume that you are speaking of an FCI registry. Download our single application at: http://www.ukcdogs.com/rg/pdf/fo6adm.pdf Be sure to read all instructions carefully. You will need to download the latest version of Adobe Acrobat Reader if you haven't already. If you have any trouble email me at sjonas@ukcdogs.com
Good luck and let me know if you have any questions.
Hello :
Thank you for all your help I truly do appreciate it.. I contacted the breeder and below is what she told me about the registration... So it seems all my worrying was for naught...
Take care and thanks Ruthann
Our dogs are registered with the Romanian Kennel Club (AChR). The Romanian Kennel Club is member of the FCI (International Chinological Federation).
