What would be needed to register a shetland sheepdog?

I was just wondering if there is an age limit on registrating him. (what age is he too old to be registed with UKC?) and My last name on his AKC papers is not the same as it is now. Will that be a problem?I already have an AMBOR Dog with you all. I am only interested in showing him in obedence. What form would i use?
Would you also need a Picture? I am pretty certin a copy of his AKC papers too. Any other info that can help me would be great!

You can single register the dog with us. Here's the link for the single application. http://www.ukcdogs.com/rg/pdf/fo6adm.pdf Good luck and have fun!

My dog is not a breed champion or anything..... would i be better off doing a Limited Registration? He is fixed so he would be doing obedience now how old is too old? he is almost 14 but moves with the grace of a 3 year old, he is not bilnd or deaf. his face has very little white on it......... So would it be better to do a Limited registration on him? since he will be showed only in obedience ?

Oh I love you! A 14 year old dog still doing obedience, this is just wonderful. Good for you!

You can Limited Privilege list the dog or single register the dog whichever is your choice.

You must have an updated version of Adobe Acrobat Reader to download. Thank you.

It might interest you to know that UKC's slogan "Our Dogs Do Stuff" started out with "We do stuff with our dogs".
