World Hunt last night
What in the world happened in Flora last night? Just look at those scores. Was it the dogs or the coons? I thought that Flora was the coon capital of the world and those were the Top 20 coonhounds in the world. I heard that they were making slick trees, treeing possums and running deer. Can this be true? I see where they even had one dead cast. Do you mean that 3 of the Top 20 coonhounds in the world can't tree a couple of coons in 2 hrs in the coon capital of the world? I also heard that the dogs that advanced weren't the dogs that treed the coons. Of course I wasn't there so this is just hearsay, but I heard that the 2nd tree dogs were the ones that ended up winning the casts. Can this be so? What in the world was going on up there last night? What will they do if they have a dead cast tonight in the Final Four?
Were did u see all this? I Cant find anything out.who is in the final 4?

Dry as hell up there it was a track dogs world hunt we were in one of final 7 casts you had to just grub out a track or ambush a coon full moon nites the guides were a little rough ran two coon one 6 tenths and one 8 tenths sure wasn't like BnT days dogs being split 4 different directions eat up lots of hunting time walking tree to tree waiting 7 minutes to squall on 4 trees is 28 minutes and being leash locked between trees doesn't alow for big scores get used to it your world hunts will look more and more like this as time goes by everyone wants the deep and lonely that's never with another dog to much time wasted scoring trees
I Believe it

Mr Lambert,
Why do you feel the need to get on here and try to downgrade the dogs that are still hunting? If I'm not mistaking, you hunted Thursday night and had your chance to advance.... The dogs hunting tonight made it farther than I did, so I'm going to congratulate them, and wish them luck, instead of questioning why or how they got there.

DEEP and LONELY definately brings handling strategy into play far more than it ever did when dogs hunted together and hunted where you put them.
In the past, a good handler was known for knowing his dog and never making mistakes. Today, strategy plays a much bigger role and I think many of your dyed-in-wool UKC hunters aren't used to that. Whatever it is, these dogs and the way they hunt is changing. Not all of them, but certainly the ones we read about month after month.
PS...none of the above is in reference to anything at last nights World Hunt, just general ramblings. I hunted my pup here last night thinking she had looked awful darn good the last 4 nights but last night she needed shot. They are all just dogs.

Mr. Lambert I talked with Darrel early this a.m. and he had 1st strike and 1st tree on two coon in his cast. He did draw a few minus points but managed to be hi scoring dog last night. But tonight is when u really want to be the hi scoring dog. Lol.

And you got non hunting judges. I love it like this make them dogs work for what they get no honey holes or a good sharp pencil with a good buddy. I can tell u right now I know for a fact I've hunted with two of them in the final four and there nice hounds. But no need to down or cry. I could cry bout not advancing with my dog but hey I was happy to be In top 100 and will try again next year. Remember there just dogs and if I remember correctly I hunted with a dog couple years ago that didn't score a coon at aut oaks cause of same problem TO DRY.

I don't know a thing about the other three but the Solo dog is a local dog, born, raised and trained around here. I never had the chance to see him but about everyone else around here has and they all seem to say the same thing about him. Flat out coon treer.
I'd love to see a Black dog win it tonite, either one.

This thread of Mr Lamberts is nothing like the ones that was getting deleted that other members were putting up why do you not here about them they were pertaining to the same things he was saying but his is still up and theirs is gone now.

Gone are the days where all 4 dogs are on every tree and you are cutting loose again with open strike. Been this way in PKC for years, It looks like UKC is starting to get there as well. Good deal as far as I am concerned.

HOBO - like many others, when I click on your link for final round last night, all I see (if I scroll all the way down) is the results from cast one. Is everyone else seeing more than we are???
Is it confirmed that the final four is:
