i've been feeding it for 2 years now,and like it.only thing i notice is my dogs drink alot of water due to it being made with pork.i pay $18 for 50# bag.thats a good price!!!!!

Give Hi-Standard dog food a try. Go Hi-Standarddogfood.com for the ingredients and a distributor near you. The best dog food I have ever fed.

HI STANDARD is good feed also. I had a buddy from Ohio down for 3 weeks , that is what he feeds dogs performed well. Dogs were in alot of water and hunted hard every night!

I can by far say pride is not junk jus started feedin it an its brought my dogs out nice shiney coat good healthy dogs. So whoever says pride is junk ur crazY. Feed the black bag 24/20 its good feed.

How does pork increase water consumption? It is well known that a feed with a high amount of filler material will result in the dog drinking more water than usual. Never heard of pork causing it though.

We fed it back when "we" were hunting hard. Never had a firm stool from any of the dogs on it. I really liked the price, tho. Just hated the clean-up afterwards......

pide is made from porcine meat.look it up it has alot of salt in it.i noticed it,and looked it up.i'm sure corn filler causes a dog to drink alot too,but what food really doesn't have filler in it.if truth be known they all do!and if it truely doesn't have a filler in it can a kennel owner afford it........

I sold pride for a while too, lost 50% of our dogfeed customer base, several sick dogs from a load once, it is corn, chickens eat corn, my dogs eat meat based feed. We switched our hounds to Sportsmman's pride and hunter's special, seen a huge difference, been selling it since. 300 bags a week!! No middlings or soybeans like most, nor a huge "ground yellow corn".

try it, you'll like it!!

Its a shame what dog feeds have turned into. 50lbs turning into 40lbs and still cost the same, the quality going down hill, and the makers don't seem to care.
I'm a Black Gold dealer, I've used it for years, No More. It has really changed over the last few months, I wouldn't put it in my coon feeders. When its all gone, I'll quit carrying it.
I started selling Pride a few weeks ago and have switched my dogs over. They like it and you can tell a big difference in the way they look and in the energy they have. I went from 26/18 Black Gold to 24/20 Pride

A friend of mine told me that Pride had been in business for over 20 years. He said it use to be called Coon Hunters Pride.

it's two different brands sold by the hyland company, coon hunter's pride is a cheap corn based feed that is in a camo bag....

pretty much bucket feed........

I tried some of the black bag (24/20) a couple of months ago...............it was JUNK.....!!!!
My hounds went downhill fast........

I used to feed it about 5 years ago, and it was pretty good feed back then, I dont want anymore of it.......going back to Purina and Diamond Extreme Athelete...................................Tim

I feed pride, the orange bag. Have for about 6 years. Have tried about everything else also and nothing compares to pride 26/20

Diamond naturals extreme athlete up at tractor supply is awesome feed. 37$ for 40# it don't have to feed near as much. No corn no soy. Awesome feed!

Ive been feeding the pride pro series (orange or green bag) for about 4 yrs now and my dogs do great on it. I Feed 11/2 to 2 cups a day and they usually produce one nice stool a day so clean up is easy. Coats are shiney and healthy looking. I hunt 3 to 4 nites a week. I live in Wisconsin so in the winter I feed alittle more about 3 cups. I love it and recommend it.
