Smile Super slam in Marshall

For all you Internet professors Marshall Illinois is having a super slam I know of several red dogs within driving distance. Here's your chance for big money non hunting guides no excuses

If you need a place to stay I will help you out

You don't know if you have a top dog unless you jump in . Hope to see you there

Jeff Murphy

Does that mean that we can stay at your house or that you will give us the name of a good motel?
When is the hunt? I know that I have a Top Dog. Now if I can just find a Top Handler to hunt him for me.

Richard

You can stay here and meals are free Amy can cook just ask Darrin Gher and I hear Mr Gher is for hire as a handler

Posted by Richard Lambert on 04-21-2016 01:29 PM:

I thought that Mr Gher had a Top Dog of his own to handle? Are you going to hunt Jessie? There are several awfully nice Redbones in that "area" right now: Jessie, Flow, Boone, Copper, Fancy, Bruiser, Kat, Copper, Freak, Fixin are just a few of them that I know of. And there are a couple more within "driving distance". How far is Irvine, Ky from Marshall? How far is Sheridan, Il? I could bring Wendy and Wilma up. That is 13 right there. And that doesn't count any Missouri boys. They are only about 4 hrs away aren't they? I wonder how long it takes to get from Oklahoma to Marshall? Doesn't Mr Jones make that trip periodically? Y'all could have an all Redbone Super Slam.

Posted by Richard Lambert on 04-21-2016 04:23 PM:

It looks like there is no shortage of dogs but I am going to need a few handlers. How far is Kalamazoo from Murphy, Il?

Posted by Corey Gruver on 04-21-2016 04:38 PM:

IDK about Murphy, IL.... but Marshall, IL is 5 hours from Kalamazoo, MI, Richard

Corey, it sounds like you and Allen need to each buy an entry. I can furnish y'all a dog or maybe you might be able to find one over in North Carolina.

Richard

Jeff said that hunt is only for top dogs, that ruled me out right off the bat

Do you want me to forward you my hourly rates??

Allen said that you get paid $10/hr. For a 2 hr hunt that would be $20. Jeff has offered to put you up and feed you and if you ride with Allen then UKC will furnish the gas. That sounds like a pretty sweet deal to me.

Posted by Allen / UKC on 04-21-2016 06:11 PM:

Murphy, I'm not sure how you're going to even be able to conduct this hunt? The entrants are wanting to hunt by themselves and not draw each other. Looks like we need to look into HTX Super Slams for Redbones only. lol. You might need to get Jim Ridge to come over to keep them straight. Richard is losing his tomatoes!

Posted by Richard Lambert on 04-21-2016 06:25 PM:

I don't want to hunt "by myself". I just don't want to hunt "against myself". I don't think that I can beat myself. I can be pretty tuff. And I don't think that you want to go up against me when I know and can call 2 or 3 dogs in the cast.

Posted by Allen / UKC on 04-21-2016 07:31 PM:

If you are the owner of multiple dogs entered in the hunt, they will be separated.

Jeff, do you have room for 16 people?

G-Man or Calli? That retirement didn't last very long. I think that if it is less than 3 weeks, they call it a vacation not a retirement.

Jeff, it sounds like y'all had better start blowing up some air mattreses.

Same weekend as pro hunt in onsted Michigan and the Heartland Classic 4 wheeler hunt in Wisconsin. I made a commitment to hunt in and support the Heartland Classic hunt this year a few months back...so I can't make it to this super slam hunt...but I sure would like to. Great hunting in that area.Good luck to those who are able to make it.

Flow won't be there, her owner has to work. Sounds like a great event.

You know what they say about all work and no play.

We need 3 more now.
