Ukc old school championship !!

I think ukc should put on an old school major hunt somwhere 3hrs nothing but your dog and leash allowed bring the best of the best see how the new genration handles it.

I LIKE IT!!!! *CH* Has a iron dog degree that requires you to win 3 hr hunt casts to earn it. We dont have any around my area, but I saw it on the website.

Some of the dogs of today it might take weeks to find!!A hunt like this would sure be interesting!

I hunted in the 3 hour hunts, I dont remember it being that big of a deal. We pleasure hunt 4 or 5 hours at a time and I dont handle them any different than I do in a hunt.

Id like to see hunts trimmed back to about 45 minutes. That way I can get my degree on my dog so I have something blow about and I spend very little time enduring the bs of a cast. I would be able to pleasure hunt more but still obtain the titles necessary for me to brag and blow on! 👍🏼

I'd like to see a three hour hunt be better for me to catch up lol but wonder how many dogs are fit enough to go head to head for three hours straight . We hunt no less than 5 hours mostly 2 nights a week drop after drop in some pretty rough ridges in east tn and be honest I think I'd wear put before my dog but would seperate some things I believe

Well I will try and say this the right way back in the day dogs packed and hunted all the ground they were on yes you had dogs split yes you did have dogs get deep somtime but you had to have a well trained dog to stay on the plus and off the minus a lot of times if dogs were all packed up it made you have to call quick and when you took a dash it was a big one but just like now a well trained coon treer would out last the lesser hound usually dominating them on track and tree so much it wasent even close a lot of times I don't remember dogs blowing deep and culling their tracks and trees like they do now back then.

I don't care if I'm huntin one hour or ten hours if the dog is doin more wrong then right maybe I need another dog.
