Pyrometra
A friend of mine has a young female diagnosed with this ive never heard of this anyone on here ever hear of it.its inflammation of the uterus on the the inside of the body. Sounds like it's a real expensive surgery and odds of surviving is low.
Yes, had one in the late 80's
Knowing what I know now I which I would have had her spaded instead of all the money spend at the U of MN only to have her die at her next heat cycle.

Just had a female have this in June. Our vet highly recommended getting her spayed, told us if we didn't she would die. So we got her spayed. Cost was $1000. Not that dangerous of a surgery.

Had one get it bad. Gave her enough antibiotics to treat an elephant for several days. She healed up and went on to have 3-4 litters of pups

A screw up on your part does not constitute an emergency on my part.
