Ground Holes

How do you go about breaking a hound from getting into ground holes.

Need something creative as switching or shocking doesn't work.

I think each area is different. Around here; the answer is t trash break the dog. Probably 99% of the times you "tree" in the ground; it's an armadillo. But I understand that they aren't all around the country and some coons actually go in holes in the ground. I think I've seen one in a hole twice around here.
