with drawing your dog?
does the rule state on withdrawing your dog..you have to have it handled first.
I don't think that there is any rule that states you can't withdraw without dog handled.
If my dog is out of hearing in the wrong direction of which the cast is going, I can withdraw and go round him up.

Yes
You can withdraw your hound without it being handled BUT are still responsible for anything the dog does until it is handled. See the Advisor 2021 for an instance where a dog was withdrawn while not being handled, got in a fight and was still scratched for fighting

withdrawing
let me ask this then..if you can withdraw a dog without it being handled what happens if you are in a 3 dog cast dog withdraws handler goes to retrieve it and then here are only 2 left 2 score.how does that play out.i understand a dog withdraws and starts a fight.he is still part of cast and can get scratched for fighting
