Got a phone call about 30 minutes ago that Mr.Auburn King of Va.Had passed away.Auburn and I have coonhunted since 1963 together.I was 4 yr old and he always came to the farm to hunt in Westminster,Md.He started me competition hunting.I had a grade dog back them.Auburn and his brother Berlin took me to my first Grand Amercan hunt in the early 70.Auburn was long time Bench show and night hunt master of hounds.I will truly miss Auburn,He was like a father to me as traveled around together to the hunts across the country.Rip my dear friend. truly your Harvey Stonesifer.

Mr. King

Rip, I did not know him, but from what Mr. Stonesifer wrote, he was a good man. I do remember his brother Berlin King, I think he hunted Plotts if I am not wrong. Dave

Thank you, I remember the name Tree Talking Casey, just the mention brings back memories of good times back in the day. I used to hunt a lot in Eastern Virginia back before all the big hardwood sections were cut, treed a bunch of coons back then, thought it was paradise compared to our mountains. Berlin advertised a lot back in the day. Dave
