Just Ole Coonhunters

We just finished our 3rd annual benefit hunt for a local school for the mentally handicapped. Apparently after reaching a certain age funding is cut off for students to keep attending. Vivian B. Adams school does an awesome job for our community, so we as a club decided to help out. We put on a UKC hunt and bench show as a fundraiser. With the help of ALOT of people in the community we have raised over $65,000 total in the last 3 years. With that money scholarships can be given to keep students in the school program.

A little pat on the back for ourselves, but also a little encouragement to other clubs. See how you can help your communities. I never been asked so many times as I was this past Saturday " so what is coonhunting?"
