Breeding Question

Male dog isnt showing any interest in inheat female. It is the 9th day of her cycle. Any suggestions?

Breeding

Still early keep trying every other day. I have had some females that were not ready till 15 or 16 days. I generally try to breed the 11th or 12th day then skip a day and breed em again a second time. Good luck.

If the male is young and inexperienced and you keep them together...and while the female is not quite ready to accept the male then she will be biting and nipping at the male when he is trying to mount her...by time she is ready he will be hisitant and over cautious...best thing is to keep him away from her until she is ready...

She might not be ready for a few more day like starting on the 11th day...

Test her and when she poses and flags she is about ready...
