Litter of red pups with strange markings ??

Had a litter of red pups born from two registered redbones....one has a white spot on his head and a white chest ....another one has a real light colored almost a tan patch on side of his face ?? Anyone have ever dealt with this ? Or can explain why to me ? ....all others look typical redbone

How old are they?

30 years ago, I saw some new born Registered Redbone pups and thought wow, what dog got to this female (due to color variations). Some had white from their chin, under their belly clear to their tail, tails were black, heads were like monkey face black and tans. Some had black rings around their necks, some were saddle backs, some had white toes. A week later they looked like PR Redbones with just a little white and black here and there. A month later they met the breed standard just fine. I wouldn't worry too much about color the first week.

Off color

I also believe, off color pups show up now and then, that don't ever meet the standard. These pups don't show up in pictures or get to go with their mates to be displayed and sold at events.
A female can also be bred by multiple males and have pups that are half mates in the same litter. DNA testing can sort this out. The pups that match the registered Sire can be registered Redbone. The ones not matching the sire can be X bred with UKC.
