Dc50

Have an almost brand new 320/Dc50 combo and recently I'm having trouble with picking the collar up right. My buddy ran it on his handheld and his dog showed up properly but my dog will not pick up correctly on either handheld. For example, we treed and when we left the tree my compass and distance was saying the dog was at the tree as we walked back to the truck. Any thoughts?

Good question-I'd like to know if anybody has any ideas too or if anybody works on them. My DC50 recently quit picking up too. U can tell by the collar flashes that it's not connecting. Every once in awhile it will link up for a short period. It was a good one for about a year and a half, but I just don't know what to do with it now.

updating collar and handheld

Mine did the same thing try going to Garmin's website and update the collar and the handheld with the latest software version. If I remember correctly there are some how to videos on YouTube. Hope this works for you like it did me.

Thanks I'll try that. I had my Garmin updated recently at the Grand American, but not the collar. That might just be the ticket!

My handheld needed an update and my collar was up to date, should be fixed now, you have to download garmin web updater to your computer and update it there
