Rules question.

if a coon was way out on a limb and the dog went to the tree and then out directly under the coon continuously barkin up. Would they get minused?

Reason for askin. I got a young dog that's got all the tools to win. But she trees the coon not the tree. If the coons on the trunk she's belly up on the wood. If it's out on a limb. Shes on her back feet under the coon. Then back to wood. then directly back under the coon.

You might but I don't think you should. UKC. Has always made the point that they do not mandate treeing style. They just have show to be treed and stay.

Not in my cast. Now if he was drifting around and not focused in on where the coon was might be a differant story, he would to be pretty consistant with where he was looking and standing becouse there wouldn't a tree connecting the dog to the coon.

Your gonna get minused for it. Specially if your beating them. Sometimes. I just need one to show me where its treed. If thats right under a coon. Im good.

if your dog is there treeing by that I mean barking it could be standing on its head with its back legs sticking up in the air and they can not MIN. you all it has to do is show that it is treed, so as long as it is barking at a tree it is treed no matter if it is standing and barking on the tree or sitting on its but looking up the rule says showed treed.
